Gather

"Words of witness and acts of genuine hospitality directed towards our friends, relatives, and neighbors create the opportunity through which the Holy Spirit brings others into a relationship with Christ and his church." (ELCA 2001)

All Saints seeks to "gather all people in a community immersed in God's Word" through our Evangelism, Fellowship and Youth Ministries. All three of these ministries are an integral part of daily life at All Saints. The primary goals of each ministry are outlined below.

Evangelism
The Evangelism ministry team sees as its tasks to reaffirm a passion to call, gather, and enlighten ALL to the work of the Spirit so each can work to “live among God’s faithful people”.
Working to generate an excitement for spiritual renewal at All Saints Lutheran Church, we are “planted as a mission” and extend to all we serve the opportunity for a faithful relationship with Jesus Christ. The Evangelism ministry team strives to make all members comfortable with sharing their faith with others and encourages others to join us in worship and in service. The ministry team also strives to make our place of worship known in the neighborhood and community as a place where God’s faithful people meet, preach and teach the Gospel. By making sure that all who join us for worship are greeted openly and made to feel comfortable and welcome to all of our weekly activities, the Evangelism Ministry team promotes a true sense of family and community at All Saints.

Arts Program

All Saints Lutheran Church Arts Program seeks to use music and arts as a ministry to enrich lives, express the depth of faith, build bridges between people in the community, and provide opportunities for spiritual growth. Learn More about the ASLC Arts Program.

Fellowship
The goal of the Fellowship ministry team is to develop and implement a program to meet the Christian social needs of the congregation that includes, but is not limited to, congregational meetings, gatherings, and special events for youth, family, and singles groups. The Fellowship Committee assists with the recognition of siginificant events in the life and ministry of congregational members and is the point of coordination for fellowship activities that fall under the purview of other committees.

Youth Ministries

The primary goal of the Youth Ministries team is to foster and nurture Christian social and spiritual values in our youth through relationships and the Word. We strive to meet this goal through the development of programs and activities that increase spiritual awareness and understanding, minister to God's people, and encourage outreach and fellowship.

Programs and activities aimed at raising spiritual awareness and understanding include regular devotions and prayers, serving in worship services, and attending synod youth conferences and events.

We minister to God's people through activities such as the preparation and presentation of dramatic calls to worship, Christmas caroling to our homebound members and local community, and participation in service projects.

Outreach and fellowship is intricately woven into the fiber of our ministry and is further encouraged through activities such as bimonthly meetings, hosting and participation in churchwide fellowship and Christian Education events, and inviting our neighbors and friends to participate in the life of All Saints Lutheran Church.
