"The
regular study of the Bible is a key way God's people can practice
loving and knowing God. Study happens privately through personal
Bible study and regular devotional time. Study happens publicly
as a families and friends learn together, in small groups, and
through larger gatherings of formal study and worship." (ELCA
2001)
The
primary goal of the Christian Education Ministries is to provide
quality, engaging, Bible-centered programs
that stimulate thinking and learning. Programs are offered throughout
the year to meet the needs of all members. Christian
Education for Spring 2008 is currently underway. Please click here

of the Classes Offered for Spring 2008.
Children's
Sunday School
Over
the last year, renewed emphasis has been placed
on our ministry to
children
through Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. The curricula
engage children
in learning Bible stories through stories, songs, games, crafts,
and snacks. We make learning fun! Sunday School is held from
September through May at 9:45 a.m. (between the two worship services),
and
the Vacation Bible Experience is held in July.
Confirmation
Class
Confirmation education is offered for seventh- and eighth-grade students.
Confirmation courses are held September - May on the 1st and 3rd
Sunday evenings of each month from 6 - 7 pm. Following each confirmation
class, Youth Ministries hosts
a fellowship hour. In addition to the twice monthly confirmation
classes, the youth participate in a study program during the Sunday
educational hour at 9:45 am (September - May).
Adult
Education
Our Growing in Faith Program offers four
regularly scheduled opportunities to participate
in weekly adult-education classes: two offerings
on Sunday mornings, one on Monday evenings,
and another each Tuesday morning.
All classes are held at the church.
We
welcome suggestions for future topics and pray that you will
continue
to grow in faith
through your study in the Word and through
fellowship with All Saints Lutheran Church.
