Worship
"Worship
is the practice of 'stepping away' from the pattern and business
of daily life to intentially love God. In doing so, we gain a
deeper understanding and experience of the majesty, mercy, and
mystery of God for being God - for being our God" (ELCA
2001)
All
Saints holds two traditional Lutheran worship services each
Sunday at 8:30 am and at 11:00 am. Holy Communion is
offered at all services.
A nursery is provided
for both services. Additionally, a 12 noon prayer service
is offered Monday through Friday.
We
utilize the
Evangelical Lutheran Worship, the Lutheran Book of Worship and With
One Voice,
varying the liturgy from each book by season.
Music
Program
The Chancel
Choir is the Senior Choir of All Saints, and usually sings
at the 11:00 am service. Our Sonshine
Choir, a smaller group, offers songs and musical support
at the 8:30 am service. The Children's
Choir, is for all children and sings approximately
once a month at one of the services. The worship and music of
All
Saints
is supported by many diverse musical instruments, including an
electric organ, tone chimes, keyboard, guitar and occassional
horns.
